Schenna enjoys a wonderful position at 600m above sea level, only 3 km from the spa town of Meran. Due to its favourable location the village offers a splendid panoramic view of Meran and its surroundings and the nearby mountains.
 

Schenna stretches from the city border of Meran (300 m) to the mountain peaks of the Sarntaler Alps, Hirzer (2,781 m) and Ifinger (2,581 m). 200 km of hiking paths offer hiking destinations for everyone, from cosy walks on even terrain to real peak tours. The free guest shuttle operates on an hourly basis and brings you directly to the cable cars.
 

A Mediterranean climate and the mountains await you in summer... ; in winter alpine temperatures and wonderful ski slopes await you. Within only a 3 minute drive you can reach the cable cars with direct access to the Meran 2000 ski resort.
